Last August 3, 2008 Burger King at Mall of Asia gave us the “have it your way at BK” treatment for the Yehey Event. I brought one friend with me to share the experience and also to be my personal photographer for the day :D
The Place 4/5
The place was clean, except for some morsels of bread and fries on our chair. All in all it was very satisfactory the only thing that makes it look bad is the other customer’s food etiquette after eating; they junk the burger wrapper in the tray and leave it like a mess on the table. I dunno but I think Filipinos should start practicing the so-called PCLAY GO aka Please Clean As You Go after dinning at fast food chains.
The Service 4/5
The first thing I do after settling on our table is to look for the manger as I was told by the Yehey! Staff, this time they were inform about our arrival and also about the mechanics of the said event, he greeted us nicely and inform the other staff to prepare our food. There are plenty of open counters that day and it’s good that you don’t have to wait that long for their crew to get your order, not like in some other fast food chains that ate long minutes just lining for the counter.
My friend and I visited this BK branch many times and we both enjoy the free Wi-Fi, that’s a plus for a fast food chain to stock many ordering customers in, you just have to ask the crew in the counter for the password for you get connected, but the Wi-Fi connection at the time of our event visit has a little bit intermittent issues nonetheless it was still all good for a free Wi-Fi access, but we think it was more on MoA’s power supply that time when lights started to flicker.
The charging station is the bang, I’ve been abusing that ever since my first visit due to my battery’s poor charging ability (I might need to change that, now!) It was quite a popular thing in BK next to Wi-Fi, every time I charge my phone almost all the chargers are out used by other customer, the charging station ranges from Nokia, Samsung, Sony Ericson Phone to iPod, PSP, Gameboy and other gadgets.
Last is BK’s Masseur, yes someone that massages you while you eat, charge your iPod and browse the web at first I thought it was someone’s personal PT when I first saw it last summer with some blogger friends, but after my next visit I noticed the masseur’s name plate with BK’s logo in it.
Hmm… losing the free soft drinks refill for these things are not but in the changing times, so what’s next for BK’s Kings Treat?
The Food 4/5
The Food is an B+ to A the burgers are fast and easy, the fries are good and the onion rings are awesome, but my friend didn’t like the Whooper Jr. because it’s messy when you eat it, one complain about the burger is the un-fresh lettuce in it, I can taste the weird flavor of it my burger. But all was first-rate and fine, BK MoA you’ll still be seeing us there: D
