Well, I got my gown fixed, Miquel’s little ice bags done and I’ve started on the lavender sachets. I have also started playing with some Japanese inspired fabric I bought for the cover with some slow stitching inspired by Japanese Sashiko. I love the slow, rhythmic stitching, it’s so relaxing. I have got loads of bits for this journal and am excited to make it. I’m thinking of a ‘normal’ junk journal, a soft cover, to give it that extra squishy feel.
We watched a lovely film on Prime with Sigourney Weaver, called ‘The Good House’. I really enjoy her movies.
Slept through the night (no bathroom trips!)
